We proudly participated in the 2nd Mega Medical Camp organized by the Rotary Club of Medical Stars, held on February 21, 2026, at the National Medical Stores (NMS) Grounds in Kajjansi. As fellow Rotarians from District 9214, our members joined the vibrant gathering of over 20 Rotary and Rotaract clubs to support this high-impact health initiative. The event featured Rotary International President Francesco Arezzo as Guest of Honor, who officially commissioned the Mega Medical Camps as a flagship project of RC Medical Stars, highlighting the collaborative spirit driving Rotary’s service efforts across Uganda.
This fellowship and joint service opportunity allowed the us to contribute to delivering free healthcare to thousands, including general consultations, eye screenings with complimentary glasses, dental care, cancer screenings, medication dispensing and vital health education. The strong partnerships with sponsors ensured comprehensive care reached those in greatest need. Our members attending alongside Action President and dedicated volunteers was a powerful reminder of Rotary’s core principle of service above self uniting clubs from different regions to heal communities, foster fellowship and inspire continued humanitarian action throughout Uganda.
